ABOUT US

The International Civic Network (ICN) is a 501-c(3) non-profit organization that aims to support lawmakers in the Americas to reach their full potential as guarantors of traditional societal principles. ICN’s four initiatives creates an unprecedent global support ecosystem of support to lawmakers and legal scholars at every level.

GOALS

WHAT WE WANT

The New Civic Leaders Institute

The Institute seeks to groom the next generation of legal scholars and lawmakers in the Americas. The Institute hosts workshops and training seminars aim to educate future leaders that will defend family values and liberties.

The Americas Alliance for Law and Civic Discourse

The Alliance supports a physical and virtual network of like-minded lawmakers and scholars that seek to promote traditional values and freedoms. The alliance trains the next generation of lawmakers, civil and religious leaders and tough leaders by creating and supporting a close-knit system of support and engagement.

The Advocacy and Awareness Initiative

The Initiative seeks to highlight the credentials, preparation and experience of current and future lawmakers in their quest to seek higher elected office and being appointed at local, federal and international judicial postings.

The Lawmaker Global Monitor

The Global Monitor permanently scans local, state and federal bills and policies in the Americas that may become law and potentially be a treat to existing traditions and society. Additionally, the Global Monitor rates and ranks lawmakers at every level including cities, regional governments, state and federal legislatures in the continent.

Promotion of Human Rights Agenda (EU-OAS)

  • Promotion of initiatives to foster human rights
  • Stalling or blocking intiatives against human rights
  • Strategic lobbying to position key players in a critical debate
  • Development of relationships with the government of the United States

Support of Structures for Human Rights

  • Support of like minded leaders to key positions in the Inter American Human Right System
  • In-depth analysis and investigations of key learders
  • Lobbying in favor of key leaders for strategic positions
  • Training and development of strategic actors
  • Real time monitoring of the Inter American System agenda and policies
  • Fostering and follow-up of a Parlamentary Congress agenda

Institutional Relations Development (LA)

  • Mapping and identification of key religious, social and governmental actors in each country
  • Development of institutional engagement initiatives in the region
  • Establishment of specific mechanisms for collaboration
  • Set up a coordination agenda for strategic players

Strategic Litigation & Monitoring

  • Inter American case analysis, including risks and opportunities
  • Development of case proposals for strategic litigation
  • Case by case support to stakeholders of cases
  • Permanent monitoring of cases and themes relevant to the Inter American System
